Josh took an unusual path on the journey that lead him to farming. Josh was a mechanic, carpenter and firefighter before combining all his skills to pursue his dream to live more sustainably and closer to the land. He grew up in Colorado and started a market farm growing vegetables, herbs and flowers. His aspiration was to have a more complete system that could co-exist and benefit everyone. To do this he wanted to add animals to the mix. The next chapter has taken him to New York with pasture land to graze the cows and chickens, forest to raise the pigs, and fields to later incorporate suitable crops.
